Each semester, SZFLS Branch holds lots of activities to help students put what they have learned into practice. Among these fascinating activities, the Foreign Language Festival, the Science and Technology Festival, the Art Festival and the Sports Festival are the most influential.
Foreign Language Festival As one of the most important festivals, the Foreign Language Festival, lasting for one week, is held annually in December and has been held for almost ten years. During this festival, students can have lots of fun with English. The English Singing Contest, the English Reading Competition, the Flea Market, the Culture Fair, the School-based Curriculum ATTT Imitating Contest and the Closing Gala provide students with plenty of opportunities to express themselves through English. Open Class Day is usually on the same day as the Closing Gala. |

Art Festival
The Arts Festival is a week-long event celebrating various art forms including Chinese calligraphy workshops, galleries, a photo exhibition, drawing workshops, singing competitions, instrumental performances, dancing events and stage performances. The festival is dedicated to promoting the arts while sparking students' interest in them. Students are encouraged to take part in the festival and become involved. This festival is a fun and educational activity which helps students gain first-hand knowledge of the arts.
Science and Technology Festival
With the rapid development of science and technology, people¨s lives are getting better and better. The importance of applying theories of science and technology into practical use is obvious. SZFLS Branch conducts the Science and Technology Festival every year. During this festival, the General Scientific Knowledge Contest, the Debate, the Relay Race on Scientific Knowledge, the Fashion Show (clothes made by recycled materials), and the Visit and Observe on the Spot arouse all students¨ interest in science. Students can apply their knowledge in a more interesting way.
